Carnival PC Wheel – Circa 1920 – Wood, Metal and Leather

Step right up! Three spins for two-bits ladies and gentleman and every spin is a sure win! We recently ran aground of this magnificent PC Wheel in the detritus of an old huckster’s stash. This well preserved piece traveled the country with a carnival based out of Michigan from the 1920’s until it was retired in the 70’s.These wheels were part of circus, sideshow and carnival history and when surreptitiously weighted by the operator, it was impossible to win. Modeled here by published poet Sarah Galvin. We think you’ll agree, you can’t lose on this beauty!

Sarah’s book, “The Three Einsteins” can be found at Elliott Bay Books and wherever finer papers are pushed.
